BASIC TERMINOLOGY AND ABBREVIATIONS
VoIP eXchange Trade system - A system processing the Carrier's orders on origination and termination of VoIP- calls. The access to the system is proveded by Web- interface.
Web-interface, Web site - www.voipexchange.ru, and www.voipexchange.com
Operator - An enterprise taking part in VoIP eXchange trade system.
VoIP-call - A Voice over IP communication session.
Termination - The service of the VoIP-call.
Origination - An initiation of VoIP-call.
Billing duration of the communication session - The duration of the communication session determined by the common rules of tarrification of communication session in VoIP eXchange trade system.
Equipment - Technical means that are able to terninate and/or originate VoIP-calls.
Production mode - Equipment condition, in which it has the possibility to terminate or originate.
Test mode - Equipment condition, in which it has no possibility to terminate or originate.
Direction - Geographical area that is determined by country code and city code.
Order - Carrier's offer, in which he declared his intentions to terminate or originate as per VoIP eXchange Agreement.
Personal account - Carrier's authorized account that displays the balance of records of effectively performed sessions in monetary equivalent on the one hand and the account entries of the financial operations between the Carrier and the Administration of "VoIP eXchange" trade system on the other hand.
Routing - Sending the initiated by one Carrier call to the terminating gateway of the other Carrier taking into account the orders registrated by both Carriers in the trade system. For the services of routing the routing fee is charged (for the completed origination and termination calls), taking from the Carrier's personal account for the benefit of Administration of VoIP eXchange trade system.
